Amazon fires back at Bernie Sanders

Seattle — Vox reported earlier today that Amazon (AMZN), via their blog, has responded to the e-mail that Senator Bernie Sanders sent out to his supporters. In the e-mail Sanders said that Amazon engaged in “greed which seems to have no end”. He then encouraged his supporters to sign a petition to force Jeff Bezos to change the working conditions and raise salaries.

Amazon’s was on the attack from the first sentence claiming Sanders was making “inaccurate and misleading accusations”. They continue by stating that they have offered Sanders the opportunity to tour a fulfillment center himself and that he hasn’t been in one yet.

They then go on about how Sanders claims about Amazon’s median US salary are incorrect and they try to set the record straight for him. You can read their response here.
